Nawet kiedy stąd odejdę drzewa pozostaną. Będą sięgać do ukrytej w korzeniach pamięci, aby zobaczyć znów moją twarz, a potem chwilę, w której odwróciłem się i zniknąłem. To będzie mój powrót. Ja też będę je pamiętał – zawsze takie same – nawet kiedy ktoś zetnie drzewa i rozsypie prochy na cztery strony świata.
Even when I leave here the trees will remain. They will reach towards hidden in roots reminiscence to see again my face, and then the moment I turned away and disappeared. This will be my return. And I will remember them as well – always exactly as they were – Even when somebody cuts down the trees and scatters the ashes over the four corners of the world.
