Niejeden będzie chciał
zniszczyć ten wiersz
Niejeden padnie na kolana
 przed oczywistością tych słów 
(z niejednego domu mnie wyrzucą) 
cóż, silniejsza jest prawda 
i chce ujrzeć światło:

jestem człowiekiem 
– a to znaczy że jestem:

mężczyzną i kobietą
homoseksualistą
zwierzęciem (ptakiem i wężem)
czterema żywiołami
Bogiem i Szatanem

bo człowiekiem jestem

i dlatego kocham cię 

człowieku bo Jesteś

Mancher möchte
dieses Gedicht vernichten
Mancher fällt auf die Knie
vor der Selbstverständlichkeit dieser Worte
(aus manchen Häusern schmeißen sie mich raus)
die Wahrheit jedoch ist stärker
und will das Licht sehen:

ich bin ein Mensch 

– und das bedeutet, ich bin:

ein Mann und eine Frau
Homosexuell
ein Tier (Vogel und Schlange)
vier Elemente
Gott und Satan

weil ich ein Mensch bin

und deswegen liebe ich dich

Many will want to
destroy this poem
Many will fall to their knees
over the obviousness of these words
(they will throw me out of many homes)
well, the truth is stronger
and wants to see the light:

I am human
 – and this means I am:

a man and a woman
a homosexual
an animal (the bird and the snake)
four elements
God and Satan

because I am human

and that is why I love you
